One of the basic ways to ensure your business systems are safe from attack is to work towards a Cyber Essentials certification.
We have been working hard with our clients helping them achieve this accreditation for some time and are delighted to report that we, too, have now obtained our Cyber Essentials Certificate.
We are strong supporters of the scheme and the level of protection it brings by making businesses and other organisations think about their security and what they can do to make sure it’s as robust as they can make it
Keeping on top of cybersecurity is a top priority and we believe 2020 will be the year businesses really need to take control of protecting their data. Cyber attacks are a major problem in today’s world and something which should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Pretty much everything is done online and the vast amounts of information within systems are prime targets for hackers – so it’s vital we all do everything we can to ensure we stay safe and secure.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-led scheme launched six years ago setting out procedures to be taken to reduce the risk of internet-based threats. It’s a very important programme which can be applied easily to protect your business.
It’s also worth mentioning that since 2014, Cyber Essentials has been a minimum requirement in the bidding of some Government contracts. Cyber Essentials is a key defence in the battle for security so let’s get more businesses signed up to it.
