Support Solutions is excited to be supporting the first Shrewsbury Festival of
Literature, which will take place throughout the town between November 25th
and 27th 2016. NSS are sponsoring The Flavia Albia Mysteries
Afternoon Tea with historical novelist Lindsey Davis.
The event, which
will be one of the highlights of the festival, will take place between 4pm and
5.30pm on Saturday, November 26th at the Shrewsbury Central Baptist
Church in Claremont Street.
Lindsey’s
first novel featuring Roman ‘detective’ Marcus Didius Falco, The Silver Pigs, was a huge success and
a further 19 Falco novels have followed. Her latest
novel, The Graveyard of Hesperides, is
the fourth in the new series featuring Flavia Albia, Falco’s British-born
adopted daughter and a female ‘investigator’.
The
Shrewsbury Festival of Literature will be fantastic event and NSS is proud to
be backing such a tremendous talent and well-known author. It is a huge
undertaking to get a festival off the ground and we have the utmost admiration
for how the whole thing has come together.
The festival
team has been professional throughout and all the hard work has been rewarded
with a fantastic line-up for what should be a wonderful weekend. For more information about the Shrewsbury
