One of our major clients has an IT technician who looks after their network, spread over 20 small sites.
We look after the servers for them on a maintenance contract; monitoring activity, checking all is well and attending to any alerts before they become a problem.
When the IT technician is sick or on annual leave we stand in for him - he leaves us a list of tasks, then if any urgent jobs come in whilst he is away we attend to them promptly.
