Interesting talking to colleagues and clients about their expectations regarding their computers, some bosses are happy to let their staff work on old, underpowered PC's (like driving a car in 1st gear - it gets there- but not very fast!) Others seem to have a problem waiting even a split second for pages to load up, data to be accessed and so on. I suppose it's what you are happy with really - a compromise between between spending lots and very little! There are things we can do to speed up the processes running on a computer, we can check the memory installed, the anti-virus checks and disk useage deleting cached internet pages and deleted emails can sometimes make a difference.
